- Rich, heartier dishes, such as our Romney Marsh lamb and the Chart Farm game pie, suit full bodied red wines such as Merlot, Syrah/Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinotage, Zinfandel. If you prefer a heavier white try a Chardonnay or a Viognier -

 - Foods with a naturally higher acidic content, such as the stuffed Plaice, often go well with wines which are considered to have a sharp edge such as Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Grigio -
